...and no matter what language I wrote this word all of you know what I am writing here about.
Black with milk, instant, expresso, with cardamom, with chocolate on the bottom of the cup, latte, americano and however you want.
So,how many people on this earth,so many ideas of this wonderful brew.
I can not imagine the morning without my perfect cup of coffee and for sure almost everyone who feel pressure in the workplace or had restless night think to drink a very strong expresso.
Coffee, which wakes us up every morning come from Arabia, where people first discover her wonderful taste and scent of black grains and get love it.
But before a black grains come to Saudi Arabia already been used in Ethiopia in the I-st century BC where was boiled with butter and salt.
From there, the Arab traders brought it to Yemen.
While the Bedouins spread the practice of roasting and pour hot water into the ground grains.
From the beginning, when the Arabs brought extremely stimulating grains from Ethiopia, where the shrubs grew everywhere ( the shrubs was not yet cultivated),reference was made to this drink reluctantly, and even in some cities banned the drink.
But in 1554 year an open first coffee restaurant in Istanbul and the ban was lifted.
It is so hard to imagine then coffee appears in Europe in XV-XVI century?
What people drink in those days before coffee come to us to have a good mood in the morning?
But back to the subject.
Drink, without which I can not start the day got to Europe through the German botanist and voyager Leonard Rauwolf who gather herbs for his brother-in -law`s merchant campaign.
I thank him for this when he came back from his journey he brings this precious shrubs and not only this but the description of the habits of drinking a beverage in the countries of Turkey:
"Very good drink called by them"Chaube",which is almost as black as ink in very good ailments, especially stomach. They drink it in the morning,in open places, before all,and without the slightest sing of fear or caution. They sip a drink in small sips,as warm as possible, with earthenware and porcelain cups."
And did you know the legend which describes how the shrubs of coffee discovered?
The first legend talks about Ethiopian shepherd Kaldi, who found grains of the coffee plant.
The second legend, which I like the most because sounds like a tale of thousand and one night, talks about the wanderer Shaikh ash-Shadhli,who wander around Africa saw a herd of excited goats that biting grain located on the bushes.
Out of curiosity,he broke a few grains, tasted and experienced unusual refreshment of the body.
So I do not recommend drinking coffee late at night!
And which language the name does it come from?
The name comes from the Arabic Kahve, which means wine, coffee or force -does not give to us?
A name that we use in the world comes from another botanist and doctor Prosper d`Alpino, who during his legation in Egypt gave drink more Italian name Caffe.
To me,it sounds like music and now I want to get up from writing and direct my steps toward the kitchen to pick up Italian cafeteria and prepare a magic potion.
I regret terribly that I do not have a manual coffee grinder,my mum has at home and I tell you- what a wonderful aroma of freshly ground coffee.
But I smell this same aroma when I preparing a cup of coffee in the cafeteria.
It is a kettle for coffee that turns,to the bottom piece we pour the water, but not too much so we not cover the pin hole through which escaping stem, then we place the sieve with the tube and we pour a coffee, tighten the upper part and put on the stove.
Then I take a small thermos pour as much milk as I need for one large glass and I add a little bit of vanilla syrup or peanut syrup, pour a coffee and shake.
Ready, fragrant and hot coffee I pour to the long glass so that is how I prepare my latte.
"A foam is two fingers!:))"
Oh yes!!!
I have got one more curiosity.
Reportedly the most expensive coffee comes from...?
Of course that from bush coffee, but what makes this coffee so expensive?
The best grains on the top of the bush are eaten by Indonesian animal called Asian palm civet and the"maturing"in the stomach grains lose their bitterness and gain a better flavour.
I know not a pretty sight,but I would love to sip,and you?
And now it`s time for a coffee!!!
